Merlot
Pronounced (muhr-loh) oft-maligned black grape, after getting serious treatment in the film Sideways (they settled on maligning Merlot as it sounded funniest). Can be a limited enough grape on its own, albeit with great drinking pleasure. It is found in some of the most famous wines in Bordeaux and Tuscany.
