Friuli
Friuli is the home of Tiramasu, ski resorts and wine! It doesnt have the same big names that other regions in Italy has, but boasts an incredible average standard of wine. Reds from native Refoco, Cabernet Sauvignon and Franc and Merlot are generally big clean and juicy with good acid profiles. The dry whites are some of the best in Italy from Fruilano, Sauvignon, Pinot Grigio and more.
