Tempranillo
Pronounced (tem-prah-nee-yo) is Spain's most populous grape found primarily in Rioja and Ribera del Duero and across the Iberian Peninsula, known as Tinto Roriz in Portugal and as a blending component for Port. It has bright appealing fruit with loads of wild strawberry character, and it gains wonderful complexity when oaked. Ireland's favorite red grape.
