Loire Valley
The Loire is known as The Garden of France. It boasts some of the most famous expresion in French wine. Starting at the coast in Nantes and running along the Loire River, Muscadet is a dry white from Melon Blanc, Vouvray is Chenin Blanc's most famous expression. Chinon is the height of Cabernet Franc and Crement de Loire is the Champenoise method-made sparkling. Sancerre is Sauvignon Blanc's highest expression, coming off the same kimmeridgian clay as Chablis.
