Pronounced (ka-ber-nay frahnk) is similar to Cab Sauvignon but is less frequently vinified on its own. Spiritual home is Bordeaux but is grown all over the world. Softer character than Cab. Sauv. with a slightly greener character. Big component of Bordeaux.
