G is for Gamay

Gamay is mid weight, high acid, not unlike Pinot Noir, but with loads of pomegranite, violet, and raspy, crunchy activity. It grows more or less exclusively in Beaujolais, France, and well, if you know, then you know. This is one for the Bojo lovers, a very serious 6-Pack including no less than 4 Beaujolais cru wines!



Uva Non Grata is a basic Bojo. Karim Vionnet provides a cru Bojo from Chiroubles. One of the regions most famous producers Jean Foillard's Fleurie is in new packaging, and his cousin Alex Foillard is almost as famous for his Cote de Brouilly now. The godfather of Beaujolais is Lapalu and his Brouilly is a benchmark for the region, while Charnay is from our own Domaine St Cyr.
