One of my best ever wine experiences is standing atop a mountain overlooking Priorat while Sara Perez poured me some of her wines. New releases from LA UNIVERSAL, the label of wine royals Sara Perez & Rene Barbier has landed. There is a great 6-Pack available. I don't dry in January, those in the wine trade don't have time in December to tipple, so it seems cruel to dry out that which is already dry! That's not to say I doo not EAT in December, and I still feel full! I love getting into lighter wines and willing Spring to come. I can't afford any Pinot in January, so BEAUJOLAIS is the key, and we have some great ones in (last couple of Nouveau packs on special too!). In our best of 2025 lists, we were surprised to have 3 out of 24 possible spots taken by PORTUGAL. Salt of the earth and unbelievable value.
