This month I am focusing on 3 very distinct wine makers. Gabriele Scaglione (Gab Scag) is the Italian Poet of the trio, a Nebbiolo craftsman, his Langhe, Barolo and Barbaresco are a perfect intro to this King of Italian grapes. Arnold Holzer (Arnie) is our Austrian Wunderkind and one of the world’s foremost Gruner Veltliner specialists, but with a lot more in his stable besides. Kenny Likitaprakong (Hobo) is the American Renegade with a huge wheelhouse of boutique labels and a fascinating backstory.
