Legend has it that a knight wandered up the hill, started making wine and never came back down (Hermitage). It and other major appellations St Joseph and Cornas demand 100% Syrah, and Juliens small plot Crozes and entry level Gravieres are also 100% syrah. This is unbelievable gear.
