Domaine de Bellene Maison Dieu Bougogne Pinot Noir 2022
€46,00
I can't think of a Burgundy I've drunk more of that Nic Potel's Maison Dieu. This '22 might be the best ever, but one doesn't make a bad one in '22, does one?

2022 yielded a ripe and fruity, polished and approachable Bourgogne rouge from domaine vines, supple, plush and immediately engaging. I love the balance achieved, the fluidity on the palate, the seamless acids intermingled with very fine-grained tannins. Length is excellent. Very refined and sophisticated wine, one that delivers well above its humble appellation, and drinking well even now, though cellerable into the late '20s without concern. JOHN SZABO, MASTER SOMMELIER
Ripe deeply pitched aromas include those of pungent earth, various dark berries and whiff of spice. The delicious, caressing and supple middleweight flavors possess a relatively refined texture for what this is though it contrasts with the slightly rustic finale...it is a quality Bourgogne.
