Côte de Nuits
Côte de Nuits (with some super rare exceptions) produces only red from Pinot Noir. It has 14 communes including the powerhouse names of Gevrey-Chambertain, Morey St. Denis, Chambolle-Musigny, Vosne Romanee & Nuits St. George. Where once these appellations reigned supreme, changing climate and consumer tastes have led to this supremacy being challenged (though their prices remain supreme!!).
