Aglianico

Pronounced (Ay-YAY-neeko) is one of the worlds oldest commercially used grapes. Found mostly in Southern Italy it has found some very, very limited success in California and Australia. High in tannin and acid, it has a dark colour, it ages very well and produces peerless enjoyment and great wines - you just have to prepare yourself for what you are going to get - power.
