German Wine ain't Blue Nun!

Has any brand ever suffered such unjustice as the German wine brand after Blue Nun? Blue Nun was once actually a very cool brand, a hip drink in America, it even appeared on the Fleetwood Mac gatefold vinyl cover. Unfortunately it ended up being Alan Partridge’s drink of choice and thus; fundamentally uncool. German Wine, and not just Riesling is totally undeserving of the Blue Nun moniker - we want to set the record straight. I’ve been harrassing people to drink more Riesling for years, but there’s more to German wine than just Riesling. One of my favourites finds of the last couple of years has been Rhine producer Carl Koch.
