Vieux Clocher are specialist old hands in the region, in the hands of the same family for over 200 years. Their entry level Cotes-du-Rhone is a classic blend of 60/20/20% Grenache, Syrah & Mouvedre. It is old school, lush and concentrated. The Gigondas comes from the exposed hiillside terraces, sun exposed for more depth and power, destemmed for extra purity. The Chateauneuf-du-Pape is a classic iron fist in a velvet glove wine, deeply pitched, muscular fruit, but with fit, silky tannins.
