The nose is powerful, assertive, and pure, with ripe kirsch, wet rock, hay, and fresh bread. The palate is concentrated and full of energy, and I think is a wonderfully assertive style. There is structure and depth, with orange peel, and a bit of mushroom. Drink over the next 10-15 years. This is a lot of wine for the money. JEB DUNNUCK
