The glass, with its flat volumus bowl, is designed especially to coax out flavours and help the wine unfold and evolve. Best for wines that are of great concentration, complexity and body, wines with age out of the cellar, it acts as an auxillary decanter and you can smell it evolving in real time. As the name suggests, it is ideal for Claret, particularly with age. We love 1855 for the more structured Baroli and Brunelli.
