Easter Bunny Mixed 6-Pack

This is a little collection of 3 white and 3 red of my favourite wines at the moment. Whites are crisp and very dry, reds are also fresher, brighter, but not light or lacking in concentration in any way. All are delicious, befitting of the season...or any season for that matter.

Early runner for white wine of the year for me, the inimitable Giovanna Caruso of Caruso & Minini was over with us and showed her new Catalu wine, a beautiful Sicilian Carricante. Gotta be a Chardy in there and it's an old fave from California - Folly of the Beast is a knock out. Don't be afraid of the Riesling flute! It's not Riesling anyway, Carl Koch Pinot Blanc (Weissburgunder in German) is deadly.



I have drunk so much BOTA BOTA Old Vine organic Garnacha that I probably bleed old vine organic Garnacha now, and I'm fine with that. Made by Irishman Ray O'Connor, this is killer. Folk Machine 'Film & Camera' is from California and is made from little known variety called Valdiguie. Super intense wine, Valdiguie is like a Pinot Noir in drag. Lastly, I'm a Sangiovese sucker, and this little Maremma red from Brunello producer Castello di Romitorio Brio Toscana ticks all my boxes.

Outrageous value as it's all my fave gear.

Buy this box and open 'em all at the same time with loads of good company.
