Chateau Tour St. Bonnet

Chateau Tour St Bonnet is a well known, well respected and well loved producer of Claret, the old fashioned term for Left Bank Bordeaux. Classed as Cru Bourgeois, it is situated just a couple of kilometres north of St. Estephe and Pauillac. They make old school Bordeaux off the well drained, gravelly soils, aged in large oak foudres using Cabernet Sauvignon, Franc, Merlot & Petit Verdot. Review: The 2020 vintage is an absolute whopper that will become a modern classic. As always, the guys at Bonnet have made a Claret with a good bit of heft and braun. It's big, it's lush, it's powerful. There's length, there's concentration, there's a deep, plush fruit core. There's a free Magnum. I could go on but I don't think I need to. RORY, WINE STATION
