This is one of those wines you fall in love with at the first sip. Matching old school and modern techniques, they use satellite mapping but pick by hand. Technically its a Rioja Crianza, but they don't really call it such as the focus is on it's place: a parcel of 50 year old vines, barren, rough soil, resulting in concentration and purity. Tempranillo, Garnacha, Graciano and ancient Tintilla de Rota, fanatical selection, maceration and mal in steel and concrete. Old oak, the fruit is the star here, and the electrifying acidity. All things to all people wine.
