Scala Ciro Rosso is from the ancient area of Ciro in Calabria. It was established 70 years ago by Antonio Scala, and they still use the same concrete tanks that they first installed. His son now runs things. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong style=\"font-weight: bold;\"\u003eWHY BUY?\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cb\u003e \u003c\/b\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThis is a stunning wine. It's very light in colour, the nose is elegant, but the palate is deeply complex, with that Italian smack of rusticity.
