There is a cheaper way to \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003edrink the big house\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e for us mere mortals; with 3 of each of the second and third labels from the famed Tenuta San Guido estate - \u003cstrong\u003eGuidalberto\u003c\/strong\u003e \u0026amp; \u003cstrong\u003eDifese (both 2024).\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003eGuidalberto is equal parts Cab Sauv \u0026amp; Merlot, and is made from the estates younger vines, one day they will grow up to the main wine, but for now they are Guidalberto, the 2024 has received the usual gushing praise including 95 points from Decanter. Difese actually has more Cabernet (65%) in it and this might be the best release yet, 93 Points in Decanter.
